ALU-SOL

GROUND-MOUNTED PV STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS

DESIGNED TO PERFORM
YOUR PV IS MORE SUSTAINABLE

GALVANIZED STEEL STRUCTURES FOR INDUSTRIAL PHOTOVOLTAIC PARKS.

Each photovoltaic system arises from different conditions: soil characteristics, panel arrangement, environmental exposure and mechanical requirements.

With ALU-SOL we design and supply metal structures based on a modular architecture, developed to combine construction efficiency, adaptability and resistance over time.

From the choice of supports to the definition of connections, we study each element to obtain a solution consistent with the characteristics of the site, optimizing the use of steel and simplifying subsequent assembly operations.

DESIGNED FOR INTERNATIONAL MARKETS.

ALU-SOL structures are developed considering the technical requirements applicable to the project and the country of installation.

For each supply we evaluate the site conditions, the specific requests and the necessary documentation, in collaboration with the professionals and partners involved.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

EFFICIENCY COMES FROM GEOMETRY.

THE NECESSARY MATERIAL. NOTHING SUPERFLUOUS.

The quality of metal carpentry does not only depend on the quantity of steel used, but on the ability to use it effectively where it is needed.

We study sections, geometries and load distribution to obtain a balance between weight, resistance and stability. Each element is sized considering the expected stresses, avoiding unnecessary oversizing and seeking the best use of the mechanical properties of the material.

OPTIMIZING DOES NOT MEAN WEAKENING.

The reduction in mass must be accompanied by maintaining the required performance. For this reason we evaluate the behavior of the profiles, the distances between the supports and the effectiveness of the connections, considering the functioning of the entire set and not just the individual elements.

The rationalization of the sections and the repeatability of the geometries also make it possible to reduce overall dimensions during transport, simplify handling and organize supplies made up of standardized elements.

LESS WEIGHT. MORE SAFETY.

A more efficient use of steel makes it possible to reduce the quantities to be produced, handled and transported, helping to optimize overall carpentry costs. The objective is to obtain a slim and resistant structure where it is needed, limiting its own weight and the loads that this transmits to supports, connections and foundations, in compliance with the expected performance and safety requirements.

CONFORMATION OF THE TERRITORY

FOLLOW THE LANDSCAPE. DO NOT MODIFY IT.

THE TERRAIN CHANGES. IT DOES NOT CHANGE OUR LOGIC.

A photovoltaic field can develop on flat surfaces, undulating terrain or areas characterized by different height differences and slopes. The natural conformation of the ground influences the heights of the supports, the orientation of the rows and the arrangement of the panels.

We have conceived an architecture capable of adapting to these variables through adjustable geometries and different combinations of load-bearing elements, maintaining a common connection logic.

MORPHOLOGY BECOMES A PARAMETER, NOT AN OBSTACLE.

Variations in height and inclination allow the contour of the terrain to be followed without necessarily imposing a uniform artificial plane. This approach allows you to evaluate installations even in the presence of irregular surfaces, limiting leveling and earth movement interventions where technically possible.

The geotechnical characteristics are considered in the choice of foundations and anchoring methods, which can vary depending on the bearing capacity of the soil and the expected stresses.

A CONSTRUCTION PRINCIPLE. DIFFERENT CONDITIONS.

From the plains to the hilly areas, the objective is to preserve the continuity of the supporting architecture, adapting its geometry to local needs without resorting to a completely new concept each time.

ALU-FAST

POSITION. CONNECT. BLOCK.

FEWER OPERATIONS. MORE CONTROL. MORE SAFETY.

The simplicity of assembly does not only depend on the number of elements to be joined, but on the way in which they are positioned, supported and fixed during each operation.

With ALU-FAST we have developed a connection logic aimed at making the coupling of parts more intuitive, controllable and repeatable, through dedicated terminals and positioning references.

CHECKING THE POSITION BEFORE FIXING.

The correct alignment of the elements facilitates subsequent operations and helps to limit adjustments, repositioning and corrective interventions.

The possibility of preparing pre-assembled groups also allows you to organize simpler operational sequences, reducing the number of activities to be carried out during construction.

SAFETY STARTS WITH SIMPLICITY.

A connection designed to facilitate the positioning and temporary stability of parts can help reduce the need for manual supports and complex maneuvers, subject to compliance with the required safety procedures.

The standardization of fixings also favors the repeatability of operations and greater uniformity in the creation of large quantities of supports.

DESIGNED FOR EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS

EVEN WHEN CONDITIONS BECOME EXTREME.

RESISTANCE IS NOT AN OPTION. IT IS A REQUIREMENT.

Ground-mounted photovoltaic installations remain exposed to the external environment for decades. Gusts of wind, accumulations of snow, temperature variations and intense atmospheric phenomena can generate significant stress on the load-bearing parts and their relative fixings.

For this reason we consider the climatic conditions of the site already in the sizing phase, evaluating the expected loads and the mechanical behavior of the whole.

THE WIND DOES NOT ONLY ACT ON THE PANELS.

The photovoltaic surfaces transfer the aerodynamic actions to the crosspieces, supports and foundations. Each connection therefore participates in the transmission of forces and must be verified according to the operating conditions.

Particular attention is paid to areas exposed to intense winds, heavy snow or severe environmental conditions, in which geometry, stiffness and anchoring take on crucial importance.

PROTECTION ALSO AGAINST THE WEATHER.

Galvanized steel helps protect metal surfaces from corrosion. Durability also depends on the exposure environment, the characteristics of the coating and the correct definition of the construction details.

Our goal is to provide reliable steelwork, sized according to applicable requirements and designed to maintain the required performance throughout its expected useful life.

WE THINK ABOUT YOUR SYSTEM

EVERY NEED DESERVES THE RIGHT ANSWER.

YOUR NEEDS. OUR EXPERTISE.

Each photovoltaic initiative has its own characteristics: expected power, panel dimensions, row arrangement, inclination, geographical characteristics and environmental conditions.

We start from these parameters to identify the most appropriate supporting solution, considering the technical and economic needs of the customer.

STANDARDIZE WHERE POSSIBLE. CUSTOMIZE WHERE NECESSARY.

Our modular architecture allows you to use common elements in different configurations, integrating them with dedicated geometries when conditions require it.

We evaluate distances between supports, dimensions, orientation and methods of fixing the modules, seeking a balance between mechanical performance, quantity of material and construction simplicity.

FROM INITIAL INFORMATION TO SUPPLY.

We support the customer in the analysis of the available data and in the definition of the characteristics of the carpentry, preparing a proposal consistent with the specific requests.

The standardization of the elements favors the organization of production and logistics, while the customization allows you to respond to the particularities of the individual installation.

We do not propose a rigid model to be adapted at any cost, but a set of possibilities to be combined according to real needs.
